“La Ginestra” is a holiday farmhouse 30 ha wide specialized in agro-biology and organic agritourism surrounded by the vegetation of the Umbrian hills 650 m above sea level, inside a natural park 15 Km far from Gubbio, 27 Km from Perugia and 30 Km from Assisi.

It is specially destined for genuine lovers of wildlife, peace, walks, nature trails, mountain bike ,bicycle touring, trekking,bird watching, archery, swimming pool.

The farm has carried out its activity for 12 years and is made up of a 19th-century manor, a tower-house and another rural building which have been completely restored in stones respecting their original architectural structure.

We rent flats (providing 2 to 7 sleeping accommodations) completely furnished and heated, with kitchen, rooms and two bathrooms (including mattresses and orthopaedic bed frames) with private garden and rooms with en-suite bathroom and garden (providing 2 to 5 sleeping accommodations) for week-ends, weeks and months.

Organic breakfast:: fresh spelt, kamut bread , spelt, kamut and wheat cakes, honey, a choice of natural jams, butter, milk, coffee, tea, fruit juce, yoghurt € 8 a day per person.

Organic vegetarian cooking on request

For the meals we have too an agreement with trattorias and restaurants in the neighbourhood (1 Km) which offer typical or organic cuisine based on local products (mushrooms, truffles, game, barbecued meat, etc.). Prices range from 13.00 to 25.00 Euros per meal per person.
You can buy fresh or preserved organic products, both self-produced in the farm or from other local organic farms.

Extra charge for welcoming pets: 40.00 Euros per week, 7.00 Euros a day.

DESCRIPTION OF THE FLATS:
A1 – Casale Torre (the Tower House): A two-storey house(4 to 5 sleeping accommodations) – Ground floor: kitchen area/living-room/sitting room/TV set with 1 double bed. First floor: room with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet. Central heating with radiators on request (extra charge). Private garden with garden furniture.

A2 – Casale Padronale (the Manor): Three-roomed flat on the ground floor (6 to 7 sleeping accommodations) - Kitchen/living-room/TV set with sofa bed, double-bedded room with bathroom including shower/WC/bidet; room with 1 double bed, 2 twin beds and bathroom including shower/WC/bidet. Central heating with radiators on request (extra charge). Private garden with garden furniture.
It is possible to split it into:
- one two-roomed flat (2 to 3 sleeping accommodations) with kitchen/living-room/TV set with sofa bed, double-bedded room with bathroom including shower/WC/bidet;
- one room (4 to 5 sleeping accommodations) with 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, TV set and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
Separate entrances.

A3 – Casale (the Farmhouse): One-storey house (5 to 6 sleeping accommodations) - Kitchen area/living-room/TV set with double bed and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet; room with 1 double bed, 1 single bed + 1 additional bed and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet. Central heating with radiators on request (extra charge). Private garden with garden furniture.
It is possible to split it into:
- 1 one-roomed flat (2 sleeping accommodations) with kitchen area/living-room/TV set, 1 double bed and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet;
- 1 room (3 to 4 sleeping accommodations) with 1 double bed, 1 single bed + 1 additional bed, TV set and bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
