Nature and traditions, comfort and relaxation, environment and history make up all the fundamental ingredients for a truly unforgettable holiday at “La Terrazza del Subasio”, which is situated in Costa di Trex, a hilly hamlet 4 km away from Assisi, tucked away in the green of the natural park, 575 metres above sea level. “La Terrazza del Subasio” consists of rooms and apartments refurbished in an old stone farmhouse, dating back to the year 1700, renovated according to the local traditional style and fitted with every comfort. Ample spaces, kitchens and living rooms furnished with good taste and simplicity make “La Terrazza del Subasio” a typical structure of the striking Umbrian countryside. The rooms carry the names of some of Mount Subasio’s resorts: “Gli Stazzi”, “La Maddalena”, “La Spella”. Instead, flowers, plants and perfumes characterize the large outdoor garden which faces the surrounding hills and far Apennine mountains through a panoramic fitted terrace, from which this Bed and Breakfast takes its name. Here you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, the best of the Green Heart of Italy.

SPARE TIME AND COOKING
During your stay at “La Terrazza del Subasio”, it is possible to enjoy guided walks in the woods and pine groves of Mount Subasio; trekking and excursions on mountain bikes are interesting too, you can follow the pathways indicated by the Italian Alpine Club (C.A.I.) which will allow you to find out the beauties and historical sites of Mount Subasio.
Marisa’s cooking is certainly one of the points of reference for the bread and breakfast. Guests can taste her specialities, in particular sweet or salty cakes, which make breakfast a very special moment.
