La Vallata is located in the middle of the triangle Assisi (about 20 km) - Perugia (about 25 km) – Gubbio (about 20 km).
Thanks to this ideal position, it is possible to organize various excursions without having to walk for miles. On foot directly from La Vallata, you can reach and follow the Sentiero Francescano (Franciscan Pathway), you can visit and discover the many cities of art and medieval villages by car.
La Vallata is an old typical Umbrian farmhouse tucked away in the green valley of the river Chiascio, 600 m above sea level. Renovated in 2003, it kept its original style recycling existing materials. La Vallata offers its guests: Swimming pool with solarium and night lights, always open; bowling pitch; mountain bikes; table tennis; darts and board games. During the nice season, we organize various tournaments agreed upon by our guests.
La Vallata invests in the environment: in 2006 we changed the heating system. Solar panels and a "BIOMASS" boiler which uses olive residues (olive stones) as fuel for sanitary water and underfloor heating.
Doing nothing is allowed, doing lots is easy!
